On 6 June 2026, H.E. Mrs. Jennie Chua, Ambassador of Singapore to Spain, resident in Singapore, hosted a dinner for the Ambassadors and Chargés d’Affaires of ASEAN Member States’ Embassies on the occasion of Ambassador Chua’s official visit to Spain.

On 6 June 2026, Ms. Supamas Yunyasit, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, together with members of the diplomatic corps in Spain, representatives from the Spanish political sector and the Spanish civil society, attended the welcoming ceremony for the visit of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to the Kingdom of Spain from 6 to 12 June 2026, at the invitation of His Majesty King Felipe VI, at the Palacio Real.

On 2 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Diego Martínez Belío, Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, during his attendance at the 5th Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policy in Madrid.

On 28 May 2026, Ms. Supamas Yunyasit, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, joined in congratulating and presenting the Thai Select certificate to Ms. Pariyanut Thiplui, owner of La Mun Cuina Thai restaurant.

Building on the Business Seminar to Promote Trade and Investment organized to promote Spanish trade and investment in Thailand in 2025 — which focused on presenting the EEC Special Economic Zone and the Land Bridge project — the Embassy organized another business seminar in 2026.
