On 28 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presided over a meeting of representatives from the Thai communities in Spain at the Leonardo Fuengirola Costa del Sol Hotel in Fuengirola, Malaga. Representatives from the Thai communities in Madrid, Barcelona, Tenerife, Valencia, Malaga, and Thai workers from Florette in Soria attended the meeting to discuss cooperation between the embassy and the Thai communities.

On this occasion, the Ambassador presented a certificate, commemorative shirts, and a badge to Ms. Naphidthidla Thawirathchaichoth, president of Muang Siam Thai Association, as a volunteer consul for her role in supporting the mission of the embassy and the Honorary Consulate-General in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in assisting Thai people and continuously organizing and participating in activities for the Thai community in Tenerife and the Canary Islands.

Furthermore, Ms. Duangruethai Reokarn, president of the Thai Samakkhi Association in Barcelona, delivered a presentation sharing experience from a Dharma training. This was aimed at helping representatives from the Thai communities throughout Spain implement the knowledge gained in their respective areas.
