On 30 March 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Akmal Che Mustafa, Ambassador of Malaysia to in Spain. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the further strengthening of Spain-ASEAN relations through activities of the ASEAN Committee in Madrid, which is composed of Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.
