On 29th March 2021, Her Excellency Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presented the Thai Madmee Silks “Khor Chao Fah Sirivannavari,” whose pattern designed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Narirattana Rajakanya, to Ms. Maria Lufuente, Spanish designer, to be designed for her fashion show in Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week, Spring – Summer 2021.

 

In additional to the said Thai Madmee silks, which was sponsored by the Department of Sericulture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, the Royal Embassy in Madrid, in cooperation with the Department of Sericulture, sponsored plain premium Thai silks whose quality has been certified by the Royal Peacock logo, to Ms. Lafuente for her fashion show in the said occasion, with the aim to promote the Thai silks in Spain as well as to enhance the long-cordial relations between Thailand and Spain in the field of culture.
