On 6 September 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit was invited by the Port of Barcelona as a speaker for the topic "Cómo Hacer Negocios en Tailandia". There were more than 50 participants consisting of Spanish trade related agencies and entrepreneurs who will travel to Thailand in October 2022, under the Port of Barcelona's initiative.

In this regard, the Ambassador briefed on the overview and trend of Thailand's economy, the trade and investment between Thailand-Spain and outlook on Spanish businesses with potential to invest in Thailand including renewable energy, infrastructure, precision medicine (especially genomics) and robotics.
