On 26 September 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy brought a Thai chef from the Thai Residence to conduct a cooking demonstration of Thai food and dessert at the Training Center for Hospitality Companies (Centro Integral de Formacion de Empresas Hosteleras) in Oviedo and UMAMI Culinary School in Gijon, located in Spain’s northern region of Asturias. The event was attended by many students and the general public who had a chance to taste the Thai food prepared by the chef.
