The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, Team Thailand officials and spouses joined hands in organising a ceremony on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, 28 July 2025. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain.

On this auspicious occasion, the Ambassador offered well-wishes to H.M. King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on behalf of Team Thailand officials and the Thai people residing in Spain and Andorra. He then led the attendees through a candle-lighting ceremony and the signing of the book of blessings. Afterwards, the Ambassador also led Team Thailand officials to reaffirm their oath of allegiance.

Furthermore, earlier this month, the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, led by the Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, along with Team Thailand officials and spouse have also jointly organised volunteering activities at Paññagiri Monastery in Aiguafreda, Barcelona to celebrate this auspicious occasion. The volunteering activities included cleaning the monastery buildings and planting trees and flowers, with the objective to maintaining the monastery as a religious and spiritual place of worship for Buddhists. On the same occasion, the Embassy also presented a donation to the Bosque Theravada and Wat Paññagiri Association as support for their activities.
