On 17 May 2019, H.E. Mr. Krerkpan Roekchamnong, Thai Ambassador to Spain, met with Mr. Jose Gasset, Director of International Relations, Iberdrola, Spain’s leading energy company with expertise in renewable energy, particularly in solar and wind energy.

At the meeting, recognizing Thailand’s economic potential, Iberdrola expressed the company’s interest in investing in the country’s renewable energy sector. On his part, Thai Ambassador to Spain gave a briefing on Thailand’s energy sector and the investment opportunities in the country, with emphasis in Thailand’s EEC. In addition, he also mentioned about the seminar on Thailand’s EEEC, which is one of the efforts of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid to further promote Spanish investments, particularly in Thailand’s EEC.
