On 16 May 2019, H.E. Mr. Krerkpan Roekchamnong, Thai Ambassador to Spain, visited Airbus Getafe’s installations and met with President of Airbus Spain, Mr. Alberto Gutierrez at Airbus Getafe. At the meeting, Mr. Gutierrez gave a briefing on Airbus’ business, especially in the field of defense industry.

Ambassador of Thailand to Spain congratulated on the signing of MOU between Airbus and Thai Airways International to establish a MRO Center in Thailand’s EEC. He also expressed his wish to see Airbus Spain and other Spanish companies with expertise in aviation parts investing in the area as well. The Thai Ambassador also mentioned about the seminar on Thailand’s EEEC, which is one of the efforts of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid to further promote Spanish investments, particularly in Thailand’s EEC.
