On 13 May 2019, H.E. Mr. Krerkpan Roekchamnong, Thai Ambassador to Spain, met with Mr. Tomas Gonzalez, President of Spain-ASEAN Business Association and Mr. Antonio Viñal, Secretary-General of the Association. At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the strengthening of trade and investment relations between Thailand and Spain. In addition, the upcoming activities to enhance Thai-Spanish bilateral economic ties were also discussed. These include the Seminar on How to Do Business in Thailand Spain, organized by the Association in Bangkok, with the support of Thailand’s Board of Investment on 21 May and the Seminar on EEC, whose objective is to attract Spanish investors to Thailand’s EEC, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid on 17 June.
