On 25 May 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, hosted a welcoming reception in honor of a Spanish delegation who will attend 2022 Global Summit of Women, to be held during 23-25 June 2022, in Thailand. At the reception, 30 women leaders of private entities in Spain were present.

     In this occasion, the Thai Ambassador gave a welcoming remark, in which she stressed on the Thai government´s policy in promoting the role of women as well as their rights. Moreover, the Ambassador also briefed the Spanish delegation of Thailand´s overall economic situation and took the opportunity to invite the Spanish private sectors to expand their trade and investment relations with Thailand, taking advantage of the country´s location at the heart and as logistics hub of ASEAN as well as the Free Trade Agreement Networks that Thailand has with many countries.
