The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid orgarnized a ceremony on the occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day, 13 October 2020. The ceremony was presided by Mr. Pongprach Makchang, chargé d'affaires, who laid wreath and delivered speech in commemoration of His Majesty the Late King.

The chargé d'affaires, together with chief of Team Thailand in Madrid, namely Captain Boriboon Emptip, Naval Attache, and Ms. Triyaporn Boonsiriya, Minister Counsellor (commercial) and members of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Madrid, participated in the candle-lighting ceremony in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. The ceremony is testimony of profound respect and gratitude towards his devotion, dedication and compassion for the Thai people throughout seven decades of his reign.
