El 12 de septiembre de 2026, la Sra. Supamas Yunyasit, ministra consejera, asistió en representación de la Embajada Real de Tailandia en Madrid al evento «Thai Soul Fest – Muay Thai Edition», celebrado en el anfiteatro de Siam Park, en Costa Adeje, Tenerife.

 

El evento fue organizado por el Departamento de Promoción del Comercio Internacional (DITP) del Ministerio de Comercio de Tailandia, a través de la Oficina de Asuntos Comerciales de la Embajada Real de Tailandia en Madrid, en colaboración con Siam Park, la Asociación Thai Siam de las Islas Canarias, restaurantes con el sello Thai SELECT y la Federación Canaria de Kickboxing y Muaythai (FCKM). La inauguración estuvo presidida conjuntamente por la Sra. Kornkamol Anekamai, directora de la Oficina de Desarrollo y Promoción de Negocios de Servicios del DITP, y el Sr. Christoph Kiessling, presidente ejecutivo de Siam Park y Loro Parque y cónsul honorario de Tailandia en las Islas Canarias.

 

El programa incluyó diversas actividades de promoción del muay thai y de los productos y servicios tailandeses, entre ellas una exhibición de muay thai y del wai kru a cargo de Buakaw Banchamek, combates de muay thai, actuaciones culturales y musicales, un desfile de moda tailandesa, encuentros empresariales y puestos de comida, bebidas, productos relacionados con el muay thai, bienestar y spa.

Durante la visita, los funcionarios de la Embajada también tuvieron la oportunidad de reunirse y conversar con miembros de la comunidad tailandesa en Tenerife.

On 12 September 2026, Ms Supamas Yunyasit, Minister-Counsellor, represented the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid at the “Thai Soul Fest – Muay Thai Edition”, held at the Siam Park Amphitheatre in Costa Adeje, Tenerife.

 

The event was organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, through the Office of Commercial Affairs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, in collaboration with Siam Park, the Thai Siam Association of the Canary Islands, Thai SELECT restaurants and the Canary Islands Kickboxing and Muaythai Federation (FCKM). The opening was jointly presided over by Ms Kornkamol Anekamai, Director of the Bureau of Service Business Development and Promotion, DITP, and Mr Christoph Kiessling, Executive President of Siam Park and Loro Parque and Honorary Consul of Thailand in the Canary Islands.

 

The programme featured a wide range of activities promoting Muay Thai as well as Thai products and services, including a Muay Thai and wai kru demonstration by Buakaw Banchamek, Muay Thai bouts, Thai cultural and musical performances, a Thai fashion show, business networking, and booths featuring Thai food, beverages, Muay Thai-related products, wellness products and spa services.

 

During the visit, Embassy officials also had the opportunity to meet and speak with members of the Thai community in Tenerife.
