On 22-24 June 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, led officials from the Royal Thai Embassy to organize a mobile consular service in Tenerife, providing passport application service and advice on document legalization.
During the official trip, the Ambassador took the opportunity to meet with Mr. Arturo Escuder, President of Foreign Policy of the Tenerife Chamber of Commerce as well. Both sides discussed and agreed on strengthening cooperation between Thailand and Tenerife in potential areas such as trade and investment, renewable energy and astrophysics. Furthermore, the Ambassador also visited the Honorary Consulate-General of Thailand at Santa Cruz de Tenerife and business owned by Mr. Christoph Kiessling, Honorary Consul of Thailand at Santa Cruz de Tenerife, namely Siam Park and Loro Parque. The Ambassador also visited local Thais who worked and owned their own business in Tenerife as well.
