On 6 October 2020, Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid organized an online seminar, titled “Thailand: Investment Opportunities for Spanish Companies in Logistics and Transport Infrastructure Projects”. The seminar was aimed at sharing updates information on investment opportunities in Thailand, particularly within the EEC area, with Spanish business, especially in the fields of logistics and transport infrastructure development.

Speakers at the session included Mr. Punya Chupanit, Deputy Director General of Thailand’s Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning, Ms. Ratchanee Wattanawisitporn, Executive Director for Overseas Marketing Division of Thailand´s Board of Investment,  Mr. Kanet Wangpaijit, Assistant Secretary General for Investment Promotion of Thailand´s Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EEC) and Mr. Jose Sanchez, President of the Spanish-Thai Chamber of Commerce. There were 65 participants from more than 40 Spanish companies participating in the session.

The online seminar is one of the activities organized to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Thailand-Spain diplomatic relations.
