On 23 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presided over the reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day 2025, at the Palacio de los Duques de Santoña in Madrid. On this occasion, Captain Yuthanavi Mungthanya, Defence and Naval Attaché, delivered a speech outlining overall relations between the Thai and Spanish Armed Forces, highlighting also the role of the Thai military in promoting security and development. The event also featured traditional Thai performances, attended by high-ranking representatives of the Spanish Armed Forces and military attachés, along with their spouses.
