The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid Attended Loy Krathong Festival by Thai Community in Fuengirola

On 25 November 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid delegated Mr. Worawut Chawengkiat, Counselor, to attend the Loy Krathong Festival 2023, organized by the Thai Community in Andalusia, held in Fuengirola, Malaga.

The event was attended by approximately 250 people from the Thai community and family, as well as representatives of Thai communities from other regions of Spain such as Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia.

On this occasion, Ms. Ana Mula, Mayor of Fuengirola, and city executives also attended the opening ceremony. The event’s activities included Thai cultural performances, Noppamas Queen contest, Thai fabric fashion show, and Loi Krathong (floating of an illuminated leaf bowl). Thai restaurants in the area also offered Thai food at the event.
