Ambassador of Thailand to Spain Hosted Gathering for Spanish Adoptive Families of Thai Children

On 4 July 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha EKAROHIT, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, hosted a gathering at the Ambassador's Residence. The event was attended by six Spanish families, among others invited, who adopted Thai children, most of whom were members of the Asociación de Familias Adoptantes en Tailandia (AFAT).

The purpose of the event is to promote the relationship between AFAT and the Embassy, and to give an opportunity for adoptive children of Thai descent to experience Thai food and culture as well as to promote the bond between these young people of Thai blood and Thailand, their motherland. It also promotes acquaintance and networking with the Spanish adoptive families who are deemed relatives of Thailand through their adopted children.
