On 3 January 2023, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, as well as Mr. Worawut Chawengkiat, Counsellor, and Mr. Pakorn Kampornlua, First Secretary, met the representatives of the English Debate Society of Chulalongkorn University at the Embassy, on the occasion of their participation in the World Universities Debating Championship in English during 27 December 2022 – 4 January 2023 in Madrid. The debating tournament was participated by 262 debating teams from leading universities around the world.
