The Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid Provided On-Site Passport Service and Held a Law Briefing for Thais in Soria

On 6 August 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha EKAROHIT, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, led the Royal Thai Embassy's officials ans staff to visit Olmillos, Soria, to provide on-site passport service and hold a briefing on laws and regulations nessary to Thais who work for Florette Ibérica, S.L., a major Spanish producer of vegetables and vegetable products. There are 50 Thai workers working for the company in Soria.

On the same occasion, the Ambassador and the delegation also attended a celebration of Thod Phapa (Buddhism’s robe-offering ceremony) organized by the group of Thai workers to make offerings to Wat Pho Chai, Nong Han District, Udon Thani Province, Thailand, and presented the donation to make merit, contributed by the Embassy's officials and staff, and other Thais who visited the Embassy.The Ambassador also took this opportunity to meet and inquire about living conditions of the Thais and their famliies, who attended the event, including those who work for Florette Ibérica, S.L., and who traveled from other cities in Spain, such as Malaga, Valencia, Barcelona, and Pamplona.
