On 19 May 2022, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha EKAROHIT, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, attended a meeting between ambassadors/representatives of foreign embassies in Madrid and executives of EFE News Agency at Casa Asia, Madrid.

On this occasion, EFE President Gabriela Cañas and Director of Information José Manuel Sanz presented information about the operation of EFE News Agency, world’s fourth largest wire service. The agency also has a bureau in Bangkok to cover Southeast Asia region.

In this regard, the Ambassador along with other diplomats exchanged views with EEF executives on news reporting formats and discussed ways to promote cooperation between EFE News Agency and the local media.
