On 27 October 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid welcomed and facilitated the delegation of PTT Public Company Limited and represenatives of the Thai media outlets, led by Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer, to a study visit at the Port of Sevilla. On this occasion, Mr. Rafael Carmona, President of the Port of Sevilla, welcomed the delegation and gave a brief presentation of the Port´s potential, as well as led the delegation to explore the Port´s premises. The Port of Sevilla is the only inland port in Spain, located in the city center of Sevilla and has an integrated logistics infrastructure (ship-train-truck).

Afterwards, on 29 October 2023 in Madrid, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, the Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, along with the heads of Team Thailand government agencies, met with the delegation to develop closer ties and exchange opinions on the development of the renewable energy cooperation between Thailand and Spain.
