This collaboration project is jointly organized by Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, Oceanografic and Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prince of Songkla University during 25-30 April 2022.

This initiative is aimed at promoting cooperation between Thailand and Spain in the area of ocean governance and marine life conservation. The transfer of knowledge and expertise in this field from the Spanish side will benefit the capacity building of Thai professionals and relevant agencies in the long run. Moreover, it will be one of the key factors in developing Thailand into an international marine life research hub in the future.

In this occasion, the Faculty of Veterinary Science and Oceanografic agreed upon a Scientific Cooperation Agreement which will be the framework for future cooperation in research and exchange of researchers and students between the two institutions.
