On 30 October 2023, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Minister, on behalf of H.E.Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, attended the presentation of the Cervantes Yearbook 2023 "El español en el mundo" (Spanish in the World). The event was held at Cervantes Institute, Madrid and presided by H.E.Mr. José Manuel Albares Bueno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. This year, there is also an article co-written by Thai university professors from Ramkhamhaeng University, Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University concerning the development of Spanish language studying in Thailand. Currently, there are 25 secondary schools and 9 universities in Thailand that offer Spanish language classes with a total of 8,000 students.
