On 27 June 2023, the Ambassador of Thailand to Spain delegated Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, to deliver an opening remarks at the online seminar on "Think Thailand for your Business and Investment Expansion" organized by the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI), Paris (covering Spain), in order to provide updates on Thailand's latest economic developments and investment promotion measures, as well as benefits for Spanish investors in investing in Thailand. The seminar was attended by expert speakers including (1) Ms. Tanita Sirisup, Executive Director of the Foreign Investment Marketing Division, BOI, (2) Mr. Jose Herrera, Managing Partner of H&P Herrera and Partners, and (3) Mr. Alejandro Martinez Recasens, Country Managing Director, Indra Sistemas.

On this occasion, the Minister invited the Spanish private sector to consider expanding investment in targeted areas in Thailand, where Spain has potential such as digital technology, medicine/public health, logistics, infrastructure, defense industry, and green economy etc.
