On 6 November 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, attended the screening of “The Year of the Everlasting Storm” at the Asian Film Festival Barcelona 2021 organized by Casa Asia at Cinimes Girona, Barcelona. Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul is one of the 7 directors who took part in the film. On this occasion, the Ambassador hosted a dinner to express appreciation and to discuss future cooperation with Casa Asia executives to promote Thailand-Spain people-to-people understanding. The event was also attended by representatives of the Thai Friends Samakkhi Association Barcelona.
