On 11 April 2021 Her Excellency Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thaliand to Spain attended the Fashion Show of Ms. Maria Lafuente, leading Spanish Designer, which was part of the Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week, Spring – Summer 2021.

The Royal Thai Embassy, in cooperation with the Department of Sericulture, Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand, sponsored premium Thai silks, whose quality has been guarantee by the Royal Peacock Logo, as well as the Madmee Silk “Khor Chao Fah Sirivannavari,”whose pattern had been designed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Narirattana Rajakanya, for Ms. Lafuente to design several looks in this collection with the aim to promote Thai silk in Spain, as well as to promote the cordial relations between Thailand and Spain in the field of culture.
