On 27 October 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, chaired the meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM), in which Ambassadors, Chargé d´affaires, and representatives of the ASEAN embassies in Madrid participated. The meeting exchanged views over important developments in ASEAN as well as the ACM´s work plan to further strengthen relations with Spain in all aspects.

     After the meeting, the Thai Ambassador also hosted a working lunch whereby Presidents of Club de Exportadores e Inversores and Spain-ASEAN Business Association and the ACM had a   chance to exchange information concerning Spanish economic situation. During the working lunch, plans to jointly promote trade and investment dynamism between ASEAN and Spain, considering positive development in the COVID-19 situation, were also discussed.
