On 15 April 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Ana Maria Salomon, Director-General for North America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain.
With the objective of increasing the dynamic of Thailand-Spain bilateral relations, both sides discussed on a wide range of issues, including the exchange of high-level visits, the 4th meeting of Political Consultation to be hosted by Spain, the promotion of cooperation in potential areas; such as, economy, defense industry, infrastructure, fisheries and renewable energy. At the meeting, both sides also agreed to expedite the negotiation of pending bilateral agreements.
