H.E. Mrs. Rattikul Chansuriya, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presides over at the Opening of Thai Songkran Festival 2016 on 22 May 2016 at Arco de Triunfo, Barcelona. Organized by Thai Friends Samakkhi Samakhom in collaboration with Royal Thai Embassy, Madrid, Casa Asia Barcelona and Ajuntament de Barcelona. There are various activities to showcase Thai culture i.e. Buddhist merit-making ceremony, cultural shows, Thai boxing show and food cooking demonstration as well as Thai food and products for sale. Approximately 800 people attended the said event.
