On 20 March 2016, Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Minister and officials from Consular Affairs section, Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, organizes Mobile Consular Project 1/2016 at Chiang Mai Restaurant, Ibiza, to provide consular services to Thai nationals  i.e. Issuance of Thai passport, Legalization, Registration of Thai citizen in Spain and Registration for overseas election, as well as to give advice and consultation to the Thai community and their family members, 40 people are attending the said event.

Minister Rommanee also takes this opportunity to meet with Thai community to strengthen unity and solidarity of the Thai people in Ibiza and near by islands and to exchange opinion on various issues as well as to provide information on the Embassy's projects. Ibiza is one of the most famoust travel destination in Spain. There are approximately  60 Thais living in the Island.
