On 26 January 2016, H.E. Mrs. Rattikul Chansuriya, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain called on  Mr. Fidel Sendagorta Gomez del Campillo, Director-General of Department of North America, Asia and Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, on the occasion of her assumption of duty as new Ambassador of Thailand to Spain. Both sides exchanged views on the promotion of cooperation between Thailand and Spain , especially in the areas of people-to-people contacts, trade and investment, and science, technology and innovation.
