On 29 September 2015, H.E. Mrs. Busaya Mathelin, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain as Chairperson of ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM)  together with ASEAN Ambassadors to Spain, called on H.E. Mr. Inigo Urkullu Renteria, the President of the Basque Government on the occasion of the official visit of ACM to the Basque Country. This visit aimed to increase awareness and visibility of ASEAN  in  the Basque Country and explore potential opportunities for  enhancing mutual economic cooperation between ASEAN and  the Basque Country.
