On 10 May 2015 Ms. Rommanee Kananurak, Charge d'Affaires, Royal Thai Embassy, Madrid, presided over at the Opening of Songkran Festival Barcelona 2015 at Arc de Triomf, Barcelona, organized by Asociacion Amigos de Tailandia Samakkhi and Casa Asia Barcelona, to celebrate the Thai New Year as well as to promote Thai culture and Thainess in Spain. There were many activities at the evnt i.e. merit-making, Thai cultural dance, demonstration of Thai boxing (Muay-Thai), demonstration of Thai cooking and fruits carving as well as showcase of Thai products and Thai food. Around 800 visitors had visited Songkran Festival Barcelona 2015.
