On 25 February 2026, Ms. Supamas Yunyasit, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, chaired the first Executive Committee Meeting of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid (Team Thailand) for fiscal year 2026. The meeting was held at the Embassy and via videoconference. Heads of offices and representatives from eight Team Thailand agencies based in Spain and European countries participated.

On this occasion, the meeting reviewed the past achievements of Team Thailand and exchanged views on Thailand–Spain relations, as well as Spain’s political, economic, and social situation. The representatives also discussed integrating their missions in order to further advance Thailand–Spain relations and cooperation in 2026 with greater dynamism.
