Charge d’affaires (a.i) met with Mr. Antonio Viñal, Secretary-General of Spain-ASEAN Business Association on 24 January 2020. At the meeting, both sides exchanged information and views on activities aimed at promoting economic relations between Spain and ASEAN. The Association’s plans in 2020 is to organize business seminars to encourage Spanish business in the field of infrastructure, food and beverages and tourism to invest more in ASEAN. Such activities are much welcomed and will have participation from ASEAN including Thailand.
