The Royal Thai Embassy welcomed a delegation of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, led by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, and a delegation of Digital Economy Promotion Agency, led by Mr. Teeranun Srihong, Chairman of Digital Economy Promotion Agency’s Board of Commissioners, who visited Barcelona to attend IBTM World 2019 and Smart City Expo World Congress 2019, respectively.

IBTM World 2019 is the leading global event for the meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) industry, taking place annually in Barcelona. This year at Thailand Pavilion, there are over 20 Thai private sectors participating in business matching with their counterparts from worldwide. In addition, those who visited the Thailand Pavilion could also enjoy Muay Thai presentation. Parallelly, Thailand is also present at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2019 with the exhibition depicting the country’s policy regarding development of Smart City.
