On 3 October 2019, Halal Institute of Cordoba (IH), in collaboration with Halal International Tourism (HIT) and European Tourism Association (ETOA), organised “Halal & Muslim Friendly Tourism Workshops” at Arabic House in Madrid. The activity is aimed at creating awareness of business opportunities in the Muslim-Friendly Tourism.

At the seminar, Mr. Aree Binprathan, a Thai Academic who joined a delegation of Thai experts in Halal tourism to visit Spain last June, was invited to share Thailand’s best practices and experiences in the development of Muslim-Friendly Tourism.
