On 11 March 2019, Tourism Authority of Thailand organized the business matching activity which aims at expanding Thai tourism market in Spain at Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid. There were 30 Thai companies and more than 70 Spanish tour operators and travel agents attending the meeting. 

Last year alone, over 180,000 Spanish tourists spent their holidays in Thailand and with the contribution of Spanish companies, we also received over 100,000 tourists from Latin America annually.

On this good occasion, Ms. Natenapa Kongsri, Chargé d' affaires, a.i., Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid gave a welcoming remarks to all the participants and Deputy Governor of TAT provided the Spanish companies with the information on the new destinations in Thailand under the campaign “Amazing Thailand : Open to the New Shades”
