In accordance with the Cabinet Resolution, dated 2 April B.E. 2562 (2019), starting from 31st October 2019, foreigners who wish to apply for Non-Immigrant Visa “O-A” (1 Year Visa) are required to submit the following additional documents:
1. Proof of health insurance that covers the whole duration of stay in Thailand. The health insurance policy must have coverage not less than 400,000 THB (approximately 12,000 Euros) per policy per year for Inpatient, and not less than 40,000 THB or approximately 1,200 Euros) per policy per year for Outpatient.
1.1) If buying health insurance from your own countries, applicants must submit only the original health insurance policy.
1.2) If buying health insurance from authorized insurance companies in Thailand, applications can submit either the copy of the health insurance policy or the original one (if available).
2. Foreign Insurance Certificate – the form can be downloaded at https://longstay.tgia.org
**Remarks – the two above-mentioned documents are only additional documents. Other documents as listed in “Documents Required” below are still required.
