On 30th November 2020 the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, in cooperation with Qatar Airways, facilitated the repatriation of the 42 Thai citizens living in Spain, including tourists, students, as well as those affected by COVID -19 pandemics and those with family urgency.  The group deems to arrive Thailand on 1 December 2020.

Since April 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy has repatriated 230 Thai citizens back to Thailand and is determined to continue the said support.  The Embassy is preparing for the next repatriation light and will inform the Thai citizens in Spain at the first opportunity.
