On 23 June 2022, H.E. Mrs.Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador  of Thailand to Spain, hosted a luncheon in honor of Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of Thailand Institute of Scientific and Techonological Research (TISTR) and her delegation at Thaidy Restaurant in Madrid on the occasion of their visit to Spain to participate in the World Association of Industrial and Tecnological Research Organization (WAITRO) Horizon Europe Capacity Building & Networking Event and in study visit to Spanish leading STI institutions. At the luncheon, both sides discussed on how to further promote  STI cooperation between Thailand and Spain in various  potential areas.

    On the same day, the Thai delegation also had a meeting with the executives of Spain's Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) to create network and seek possibility of STI cooperation between the two entities.
