Ambassador of Thailand to Spain presided and delivered an opening remark in the Thai Gastro Course event

On 20 May 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, presided and delivered an opening remark in the Thai Gastro Course event organized by the Office of Commercial Affairs in Madrid in collaboration with Escuela de Hosteleria y Turismo under the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid.

The event, organized from 20-22 May 2024, will have Thai chefs from Thai restaurants in Spain awarded with Thai Select certification, namely Pui's Thai Tapas, Thai Garden and Yothai, to demonstrate traditional Thai cooking for interested Spanish chefs. The event comprises preparing special cocktails mixed with unique Thai syrups and also displaying Thai products such as Thai ingredients and Thai snacks from Spanish importers. Not only does the event leverage Thai soft power through Thai food and deepen the awareness of Thai kitchen, but it also deepens Thai food popularity to increase demand for Thai products and ingredients leading to market expansion for Thai products and services in the future.
