The reception took place at Albeniz Room of the InterContinental Madrid Hotel, with attendees including representatives from Spanish public and private sectors, members of the diplomatic corps, local media, as well as Thai residents in Spain and their families.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador delivered a speech reflecting on the royal grace and contributions of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, highlighting the overall relations between Thailand and Spain over the past year. He also invited the distinguished guests to join a toast to the health and prosperity of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain, and the well-being of the peoples of both nations.
