On 11 May 2026, Ms. Supamas Yunyasit, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, attended the annual Inspiring Mindway Awards 2026. The event was organized by Mindway, an educational institution specializing in design and innovation, in collaboration with ELLE Education, to honor individuals and organizations that create positive social impact across various fields, including culture, design, fashion, music, film, and architecture.
On this occasion, the Chargé d'Affaires was invited to present the Innovation in Cultural Spaces Award to Mr. Kulapat Yantrasast, a world-renowned Thai architect and the founder of WHY Architecture, an interdisciplinary design studio headquartered in Los Angeles, USA.
Mr. Kulapat is globally recognized as an expert in the design and renovation of museums and cultural institutions. He has consistently brought prestige and pride to Thailand through his outstanding international portfolio, which includes significant projects such as the Grand Rapids Art Museum (Michigan, USA), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met) (New York, USA), The Louvre (Paris, France), and Dib Bangkok (Bangkok, Thailand).
