On 24 January 2024, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, as representative of the Ambassador, attended the opening ceremony of Thailand pavilion at FITUR 2024, together with board members and executives from TAT. On the following day, 25 January 2024, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand in Spain, visited the Thai pavilion in Hall 6 of IFEMA Convention Center in Madrid, before attending a networking lunch between Thai and Spanish, as well as Latin American, tourism business operators organized by TAT. In the evening of the same day, the Ambassador hosted a dinner in honor of the Thai delegation, where discussions were held on the collaboration between the Embassy and TAT as Team Thailand, aiming at increasing the number and quality of Spanish visitors to Thailand.
