Ambassador of Thailand to Spain attended Thailand tourism promotion activities at FITUR 2025

On 22-23 January 2025, H.E. Mr. Vosita Vorasaph, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, attended Thailand tourism promotion activities at FITUR (Feria Internacional de Turismo) 2025 held at IFEMA in Madrid. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) organizes a Thai Pavilion, having Ms. Natthriya Thaweevong, Chairperson of the Board of the Tourism Authority of Thailand; Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand; and Ms. Nantasiri Ronnasiri, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Office in Rome, along with board members, executives, and TAT staff, attending the event.

On this occasion, the Ambassador participated in the opening ceremony of the Thai Pavilion at FITUR and hosted a dinner in honor of the TAT executives and staff at the Ambassador's residence on 22 January 2025. He also took part in a networking lunch with representatives from the Spanish tourism business sector on 23 January 2025, where participants received information about the tourism situation and products in Thailand. In 2024, 207,710 Spaniards traveled to Thailand, an increase of 35.35% from the previous year, marking a record high exceeding the 2019 figure of 186,969 Spanish tourists visiting Thailand.
 
FITUR is one of the major tourism exhibitions in Europe. It will be open to the public on 25-26 January 2025 (tickets available at www.ifema.es/fitur). Visitors can check out the Thai Pavilion in Hall 6 at IFEMA.
