On 20 April 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Philippe Lhuillier, Ambassador of the Philippines to Spain and current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM).

In this occasion, both sides exchanged views on the promotion of Spain-ASEAN relations through the ACM´s activities which aims at creating the awareness of ASEAN among the Spanish public and strengthening cooperation with Spanish partners in various fields, especially in the economic sector, with the objective of increasing the dynamic of economic, trade and investment relations between the two sides.
