On 13 May 2021, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu, Ambassador of Japan to Spain, upon her assumption of duty.

In this occasion, both sides exchanged views on political and economic situation of Spain as well as its foreign policy. The further promotion of cooperation with Spain in various fields, particularly those aiming at increasing the dynamic of economic, trade and investment relations between the two sides, was also discussed.
