On 30 March 2023, Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid, welcomed Prof. Dr. Swangwan Traicharoenwiwat, Professor of Spanish Language, Department of Western Languages, Faculty of Humanities, Ramkhamhaeng University, who translated the Spanish novel “El ingenioso hidalgo don Quixote de la Mancha,” by notable Spanish novelist Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, into Thai language. On this occasion, Prof. Traicharoenwiwat presented the translated books to the Embassy and, through the Embassy, to deliver to relevant libraries and agencies in Spain.
